Sheet 03 / shortlist

A list that only
writes an email.

Nothing on this site can be bought, ordered, reserved or held, and no page here knows whether any garment exists to be had. The shortlist has exactly one job: to remember which frames you want to raise, so that when you write to Dokpa Garment you do not have to describe them from memory.

Currently marked

Your list, 0 garments

The button above opens your own mail application with the address, a subject line and a draft body already written. It does not send. Nothing leaves your machine until you press send in your own mail app, and no copy of anything comes back to this page. If your list runs long, the draft names the first ten and says how many more there are, so it stays inside what real mail clients accept.

JavaScript is switched off in this browser, so there is no shortlist to show. That is the whole of what is missing, and the rest of this page still explains what the feature does and how to write to Dokpa Garment without it.

The lookbook numbers every frame from 01 to 13, so noting a frame number by hand does the same job the shortlist would have done for you.

Mechanics

What it does, in four parts

01Where it lives

In your browser, nowhere else

Marking a garment writes a frame number and a short label into your browser's own local storage, under one key. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no request to anything. If your browser refuses to store it, the list still works for as long as the tab is open and a note on this page tells you that it will not survive a reload.

02What it holds

A frame number and a name

Nothing else is stored, because nothing else exists. There is no price to total, no quantity to increment and no stock figure to check against. Adding the same frame twice does nothing the second time except say so.

03What it produces

An unsent draft

The compose button builds a message with a subject line, your marked frames in order, and blank lines for your question and your contact details, then hands the whole thing to your own mail application. It sends nothing itself and it cannot.

04What it never does

It does not order anything

It places no order, holds no item, reserves no capacity, checks no stock and forms no agreement. Dokpa Garment has not been told what this list is, does not receive it, and has made no commitment to reply to anything sent through it.

Your draft

Things worth adding once the draft opens

The draft leaves two blank lines on purpose, one for your question and one for your contact details. The list below is a prompt for filling them, not a list of things Dokpa Garment offers. This study has not been told what work the company takes on and does not claim to know.

What you actually need

Materials, sizes, working hours and anything commercial are all unpublished on this site, so those are exactly the questions worth asking. Saying which one matters most saves a round of messages.

Who you are writing as

Whether you are asking for yourself or on behalf of an organization changes what a useful answer looks like. So does where you are writing from, and which language suits you.

Where you found this

Worth one line. It explains why you may be asking them to confirm their own address, and it gives them the chance to correct anything this study has wrong.

Before you send it,
check the address

The supplied address gives ward 9 and an independent listing gives ward 8. No opening hour is published anywhere on this site, because the only one found could not be corroborated. Both of those are on the contact page, in full, and both are worth a sentence in your message.
